The downstairs bathroom is getting a face lift. It's a very small space, so I decided on a bold color, Fabulous Red. My husband, on the other hand, has his doubts and has already expressed, in detail, his concerns. But I am moving forward and very excited to see the end result. Stay tuned!

I'd point out that she already bought the paint, so my concerns are merely academic at this point.

My warning on red is that a) it requires a LOT of coats to look good; b) you will likely see strokes and various areas of uneven cover. That being said, I hope to have one red wall in my future home someday! I've just learned these lessons from red-walled friends...
